Fifteen lucky members were able to visit the new Airbus H175 helicopter in public service configuration offered by Hong Kong Government Flying Service (GFS). The first of three H175s were configured by GFS for search and rescue (SAR), emergency medical service, law enforcement, firefighting as well as land and maritime border control operations.

The H175 is a 7 ton super medium lift helicopter and as of June 2014, the EC175 had the distinction of holding both the 3 km[20] and 6 km[21] time-to-climb records for its class.

In September 2015, it was announced that the Hong Kong Government Flying Service would become the launch customer for the Search and Rescue (SAR) variant of the H175.
